Chris remarked "I could only suggest the black/white high contrast edge bottom-right might impact on the flow of your layout" See Wireframe pic below.

Well.....I call this the 'Gutengerg' technique (so named after me, g-er-g), the flow is in reverse...my approach is to design a web home page in the same fashion as a print media front cover - i capture the viewers initial interest with the high contrast bottom right feature, which leads to a 'point' element, in this case the primary product (the spring flower display), now they are hooked, and all roads lead from that point. The where, when, what, how, why etc.

I favour this approach to avoid being locked into a traditional hierarchal design layout which may force a lesser emphasis on the primary product/message being showcased/promoted.

I found this task very difficult to begin with...i'm new to Flash and i really felt like a monkey possessed by a frustrated woodpecker, furiously hitting keys at random. lol However you will all be pleased to hear that's its really quite easy once you get the basics into your noggin!

Had a lot of fun with this one, sadly i had to use Photoshop for the blurring effects, my compact digital is designed to prevent motion blurring.

I was a little (ok..a lot) frustrated with this one - i wanted to spend more time on the art side (design, layout, material etc.) but bloody Photoshop was taking so much time to learn that in the end it simply became a Photoshop exercise.......not enough time (or merit) in doing both. (not for free anyway lol!)

Cropping took way too long, i think i was being too fussy. But it really can make a huge difference to the end result....didn't realise just how much with the 'rotate' exercise.

My photography got me into trouble over the weekend, got a little too close to waves breaking on rocks (there was a huge swell here) i got totally clobbered by a monster rouge wave.
